There are some great views to enjoy when you visit Hotel Las Aguilas. Puerto de la Cruz is a beautiful city of culture and history, whichever angle you view from. Take time to visit La Paz, a cosmopolitan area just on the cliff looking down onto Playa de Martianez. There is a natural viewpoint or mirador, where you can soak up the culture of the city.

If you take the zig zagging walkway slowly down to the beach, you will pass many cosy bars and cafes and appreciate the charms of the old quarter. Once down at sea level, the Lago Martianez provides a safe and relaxing alternative to the sometimes lively sea.

Walking along the sea front to the little fishing bay of Muelle Pesquero you can divert into one of the little back streets and end up in the Plaza de la Iglesia, home to the old church. Flowers and plants are always well maintained to give the city centre a bright and fragrant feel, you will be pleased that you are staying so close to such a thriving piece of history.
